Telephones
All our telephones are weather resistant and include features specific to their intended environment. In addition to voice capability, we can include video and data transmission, touch-screens, cameras and call centre software, enabling interactive communications between user and control centre. You can request other connectivity options such as wireless, voice over IP or ISDN. 

We provide specialist features such as illuminated buttons for trackside; contamination resistance for hospitals; vandal resistance for public areas; ATEX approvals for hazardous areas and Braille & Inductive loop for disabled users.

As the public become more technically sophisticated, common information can be accessed in a faster and more cost effective way. GAI-Tronics help point technology is adaptable for use in town centres, tourist attractions, police stations, university campuses, parks and other public spaces. Similar technology can also be applied to customer service telephones.

Personal security is a growing issue and help points are becoming increasingly necessary for railway stations, bus stations and remote locations where access to emergency or information lines provides added protection for the public.

Systems 
GAI-Tronics’ systems offer life-critical alarm notification and emergency evacuation for Zone 1, Zone 2 and standard industrial areas. All public address, alarm, evacuation, intercom and distributed entertainment systems are designed and built in-house.  External telephone connections to these systems are hardwired using an analogue telephone line.

GAI-Tronics equipment withstands unforgiving extremes of temperature, moisture, contamination, sunshine, wind, dust and salt, making it perfect for remote and hazardous situations.

GAI-Tronics’ standard field service is billed on a time and material basis and is provided at the customer's site on demand. For more complex systems, we offer an evaluation and report, new installation inspections, bespoke service contracts and support agreements, turn-key system installation and customer training.

SMART is a telephone system enabling the operator to remotely monitor the status of a GAI-Tronics telephone. Together with a self- reporting feature, SMART provides a powerful tool in the planning of maintenance and service activity. The software controlled PC base station manages incoming and outgoing maintenance calls.
